How Working from Home Is Better
Working from home is the new way to work in this pandemic and probably in the post pandemic age. This has some cons but some undiscovered pros are appearing in everyone’s lives as well as in the world.
Working from home can be a great way to avoid traffic, save on gas, and make some extra money on the side. But there are other undeniable benefits to working from home as well that are less talked about.
Working from Home is the Future
One of the things that makes working from home so great is that the student is in control. What works for you and the situation that you are in could look very different than what is recommended for the next student. Every situation is unique and has its own problems. Of course there are benefits to working from home. A primary one being that you are away from the distraction that comes from being at the library or somewhere like that where you may see people you know. This is a very personal benefit but there are also people who prefer to work in an environment that has less people around them. When you are working from home it can be hard to go out for a drink with a friend, but you can always work from the water fountain or the same place that they are.
Working from Home has its Challenges
There are two issues that working from home has. One is staying focused. If you’re having a great time listening to a radio show that you love then working from home might be a great thing for you. But if you’re an early bird then you’re starting to get tired of listening to the same type of music for hours and hours and you’re starting to find yourself daydreaming or checking your Facebook page for the umpteenth time. The second issue is the main one. You don’t really get out of the house. Your desk is at home and you’re sitting on your couch all day watching reruns of Game of Thrones. This can be a problem if you have a social life and really need to get out in the day to get that real life experience.
